Piemonte doc Grignolino

Piemonte doc Grignolino

A Piedmontese wine with a long-standing tradition, first documented in the late 18th century when it was used for producing “chiaretti” wines.

The Grignolino grape is one of Piedmont’s ancient native varieties. It is a demanding and challenging vine to cultivate, primarily due to its inconsistent yield and difficulty in adapting to different microclimates. Grignolino wine is highly appreciated for its acidity and delicate tannic structure, making it a versatile choice for many pairings.
