A challenge, the strength of tradition, the deep knowledge and uniqueness of the territory.
Born from the crossing of Nebbiolo and Barbera, Albarossa is a grape variety created in the 1940s by Professor Dalmasso, with the aim of combining the finest qualities of Piedmont’s two most important native grapes. Albarossa is an exceptional cultivar, capable of delivering outstanding results in both yield and winemaking. However, it requires specific conditions: dry soils, hills with ample sunlight exposure, and calcareous soils rich in microelements. Nevertheless, it produces a remarkable and modern wine, with a striking visual and aromatic impact, while preserving the quintessential Piedmontese characteristics—freshness and soft, well-integrated tannins. An uncompromising wine: elegant, distinguished, and captivating, it continues to pleasantly surprise as the years go by.
