Delicate and vinous on the nose, it can develop fruity jam-like notes with aging, while its full and harmonious flavor ranges from dry to slightly sweet.
Nebbiolo is often called the “grape of the mists” because it is harvested late, usually in October, when the fog has already set in. Its berries are covered with a fine natural bloom, known as pruina, reminiscent of the haze. This noble grape produces wines of great structure and excellent aging potential, with characteristics that vary significantly depending on the soil, giving rise to some of Piedmont’s most prestigious wines.
A longstanding symbol of our winery, Nebbiolo fully expresses the essence of our terroir. It is rich and smooth, with finely structured tannins and remarkable longevity. Ideal pairings include flavorful meats and aged cheeses.
